Kwesi Nyantakyi, the former president of the Ghana Football Association, has been released from the hospital.
A video shared by GHOne TV showed Nyantakyi, who is participating in the NPP parliamentary primaries in Ejisu, arriving at a polling station after being admitted to Asokore Mampong hospital just before the important primaries.
According to a source within his camp, his hospitalization was due to stress from Ramadan. Despite appearing frail and having difficulty walking, Nyantakyi waved to party delegates.

The NPP primaries are taking place in the Ejisu constituency following the untimely demise of the late Member of Parliament, Dr. John Kumah, on March 7, 2024.
The NPP vetting committee approved nine candidates competing for the party’s parliamentary primary on April 6.
