The Ghana Football Association (GFA) received a formal protest from Dreams FC on Thursday, contesting the Ghana Premier League match against Real Tamale United (RTU) on Wednesday in Dawu.

The protest alleges that RTU fielded players who did not meet the necessary qualifications.

Before the match, Dreams FC’s club captain and team manager raised verbal objections, questioning the identities of the RTU players during the pre-game inspection.

The match officials acknowledged and documented these concerns.

Dreams FC has declined to comment further, as the matter is now under the purview of the GFA’s judicial body for review and action.

The club has officially lodged their protest, leaving the issue to be resolved through the appropriate channels.
