The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced that all individuals wishing to run as independent candidates in the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections must contact the Commission to obtain a passcode.
This passcode will allow them to download the Presidential and Parliamentary Nomination Forms available on the Commission’s website.
“Prospective Independent Candidates are informed that the Commission will receive Nominations for the Elections of President and Members of Parliament from Monday, 9th September to Friday, 13th September 2024,” a statement issued on Thursday, August 1 said.
“We urge the public to be guided accordingly,” it added.
