The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced that it will start printing ballot papers and the notice of poll on Friday, October 11, for the upcoming 2024 general elections.
In a letter dated Wednesday, October 9, signed by Samuel Tettey, Deputy Chairman of EC Operations, the commission informed the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of this update.
The EC also advised the appointed agents to report to the Director of Electoral Services on Thursday, October 10, 2024, for a brief orientation before the printing begins.
“The selected Agents are kindly requested to report to the Director, Electoral Services, on Thursday, 10th October 2024 at 11:00 am, at the Electoral Commission’s Corporate Office for a brief orientation before the commencement of the printing.”
