The Electoral Commission will reopen the voters register from Wednesday, July 3 to Friday, July 5, 2024, allowing for voter transfers.
This gives prospective voters who missed the first application window another chance to apply.
This decision was made at an Inter Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting on Monday, July 1, 2024.
The initiative targets prison inmates, security personnel, and students.
During the same period, the EC will also accept applications for special voting and proxy voting.
