The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Effia, Lawyer Isaac Yaw Boamah Nyarko, has expressed confidence in winning 70% of the votes in the December 7 elections, highlighting the special voting exercise as a strong indicator of success.

During an interview with Channel One TV at the Christ the King Catholic Parish in Effia, where he monitored the special voting process, Lawyer Boamah Nyarko noted that the impressive turnout and smooth conduct of the exercise reinforced his optimism for a resounding victory.
He praised the Electoral Commission for organizing a flawless special voting process, describing it as a positive sign for the main elections.
“So far so good and my discussion with the EC suggests that it’s been quiet and peaceful. Security is also around, it’s been peaceful according to them. The agents and everybody have comported themselves so well.
“I have high expectations that it continues like this going into the main election come Saturday. We’re not only retaining, but we are also winning by a very big margin.
“My target is to hit not less than 70%. And from the look of things, if we’re able to hit 70% and above, we are winning both heavily for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia [NPP flagbearer] and myself as the next MP. My target is to hit 70% from 50%”
