Education Minister Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has urged Ghanaians to maintain confidence in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government and its vision for the country’s future.
Speaking in Accra on Sunday, November 10, during an engagement where he represented Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in discussions with parents and students on educational issues, Dr. Adutwum declared, “Don’t give up on us. Have hope in us and understand we can change the course of history for ourselves.”
With Ghana heading into the crucial 2024 elections, Dr. Adutwum stressed that the continuity of the current administration is vital for sustaining progress, particularly in education.
He highlighted key transformative policies implemented under President Nana Akufo-Addo’s leadership, such as the Free Senior High School initiative, which has significantly increased access to education for thousands of Ghanaian students.
Dr. Adutwum emphasized that these reforms are part of a broader vision aimed at transforming the country’s educational landscape and securing a brighter future for the next generation.
He called on Ghanaians to recognize the positive changes already underway and continue supporting the NPP’s agenda for progress.
The Minister expressed confidence that with the support of the electorate, the government can further enhance educational outcomes and drive economic growth. “We have laid a strong foundation, and together, we can build a brighter future for our children and our nation,” he stated.
