The Presidential Candidate and Leader of the Movement for Change, Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, has called on Ghanaians to reject any political parties attempting to buy their votes with money in the upcoming December 7 elections.

Speaking to an enthusiastic crowd of supporters in Obogu, Asante Akim South Constituency, Kyerematen condemned the practice of exchanging money for votes, describing it as a sign of disrespect towards the electorate.
He urged voters to resist such offers and consider the implications of accepting money from candidates who have only approached them during election periods.
“They will come and share things for you to vote for them. They will come with money, but think about it twice. If they didn’t come to you after all these years and are now giving you money, it simply shows that they don’t respect you,” he stated.
Kyerematen stressed that politics should focus on fostering meaningful change in citizens’ lives rather than relying on short-term incentives to sway votes. He encouraged the people of Obogu to critically evaluate the development in their communities and, if they find it lacking, to vote against the ruling party in the December 7 elections.
“We do politics for the development of the country. We have to change them if the country has not moved forward after they took power,” he added, emphasizing the need for accountability and progress in governance.
