The Electoral Commission (EC) has addressed public concerns, clarifying that the printing of ballot papers for the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections has not yet begun.

In its statement, the EC noted that while ballot paper printing will take place later, the printing of Notices of Poll is scheduled to start on Friday, October 11, 2024.
The Commission emphasized that, as in previous elections, detailed ballot statistics will be shared with candidates, political parties, and printing houses before the ballot printing process starts.
Reaffirming its commitment to transparency and credibility, the EC stated, “The printing of ballot papers will only commence once ballot statistics have been provided to all stakeholders.”
The EC urged the public and political stakeholders to trust its capacity to ensure a fair and transparent electoral process as Ghana approaches the December 2024 elections.
