Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has urged congregants at the Hebron Prayer Centre in Medie, Nsawam, to keep him in their prayers as the country prepares for the December elections.
The call was made on Tuesday, November 26, after Dr. Bawumia toured the Ayawaso Central, Ablekuma Central, and Nsawam Adogyiri constituencies. During his visit, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer held meet-and-greet sessions with constituents and party members in the areas.

The day’s engagements began with a session in Ayawaso Central, followed by a visit to the Hebron Prayer Centre, where Dr. Bawumia sought both the votes and prayers of the congregation.

“We will be going to the polls soon. We all know that God is the king maker thus all that we do there’s the need to put God first. As humans, there are certain things we cannot do but with the power of God, all things are possible.

“Just as the Bible says, His ways are not our ways. Sometimes we do not understand Him, but I believe that just as God used Cyrus to help the Israelites in the Bible, he is using Dr. Bawumia to bless the people of Ghana.
“We started working 8 years ago, it’s now time to elect parliamentarians and a new president. I plead with you to support me with your prayers so I become Ghana’s next president because we have not finished with our policies. I have to come and add to the Free SHS policy.
“I came here because of Prayer because I know that when you pray here God listens to you. Surprisingly Elder Donkor got number 1 when numbers were distributed in preparation for the Fasting and Prayers programme. This is a sign from God that when you go to the polls, look up there for number 1”, he stated.
