President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has expressed strong confidence in Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s ability to secure Ghana’s future and lead the country to greater progress.
Speaking at a rally in the Ashanti Region on Tuesday, November 26, the president highlighted Dr. Bawumia’s preparedness to build upon the achievements of his administration.
He assured the crowd that the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer possesses the vision and capability to drive transformative change and enhance the lives of Ghanaians.
“After all the difficulties, our economy is beginning to pick up. And I know we will make the right decision on the 7th of December and the man who will take over is going to build on this foundation and take Ghana to a higher level of development. And that man is Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
“If there is anybody in Ghana who is in a position to testify about the qualities of the people who are contesting, it is me. I have worked with Bawumia, I have worked with Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, and I know that we can trust Ghana in their hands.”
