John Dramani Mahama, the Presidential Candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has urged voters to avoid the ‘skirt and blouse’ voting pattern in the upcoming December 7 General Election.

During a mini rally in Akotombrah, part of his campaign tour in the Western North Region, Mahama stressed the importance of securing a decisive victory for his party in both the presidential and parliamentary elections.

He urged the electorate to resist being swayed by short-term incentives and handouts from the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), encouraging voters to focus on choosing long-term solutions that will foster the country’s growth and development.

“We don’t want any form of skirt and blouse. I’ve travelled to many places and the impression from the NPP is that they know JM will be successful in the presidential election.

“So they are going about telling the people, ‘We know JM will win the presidency, however, vote for us in the parliamentary elections’. No, don’t fall for that”, he stated.
