The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced that it expects to have a complete set of parliamentary results by 8 PM on December 7, leveraging enhancements to its collation system.
Speaking in an interview with Citi News, the party’s Deputy General Secretary, Haruna Mohammed, highlighted that the NPP has implemented significant improvements in its election monitoring processes to ensure faster and more accurate results.

He further noted that the collation of presidential results would also be completed earlier than in previous elections.
This development underscores the party’s preparedness for the upcoming elections and its commitment to efficiency and transparency in the electoral process.
“We have always improved our collation system and we have always added features and removed some as well and we have done a test ran which has given us a shorter time compared to the last elections and I can assure you that we have gotten enough improvement in our system of collations.
“We did a dry run on Saturday and I believe that by the time the polls close at 5 pm, by 8 pm, we should be able to know who has the majority.”
Meanwhile, Haruna Mohammed says the party is ready for the polls explaining that a test run has been done to perfect the party’s organization on Election Day.
“We need to also try as much as possible to make sure that we put all our final touches to this particular campaign.
“We also need to make sure that our agents and other human resources that we need are set. For us as a party, we have put all these things together. We have done a test run of several other systems that we intend to use in this particular election.”
