Beatrice Annan, spokesperson for John Mahama’s Campaign team, has expressed confidence that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will achieve a decisive victory in the 2024 general elections, surprising the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

During an interview on Eyewitness News on Thursday, October 24, 2024, Annan revealed that the NDC is implementing a strategy aimed at catching the NPP off guard.
She referenced several international polls, including those by Fitch, the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), and Global InfoAnalytics, which predict an NDC victory.
Annan further emphasized that the NDC is not only focused on campaigning but is also preparing the structures needed to govern effectively if elected.
“Fitch, EIU, Global InfoAnalytics and all international polls are showing that the NDC is forming the next government. We are not just campaigning, we are also putting in place structures to govern this country and some of these inform why we said we would appoint our ministers within 14 days of being in office. We are prepared and we will hit the ground running.
“The flagbearer is in Accra. We had a series of meetings, some of which I cannot speak to in the public domain, but I can tell you that the NDC is more focused. Our strategy is not what the NPP thinks it is, we will take them by surprise,” she stated.
