The Vice Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has vowed to drive nationwide infrastructural development if the NDC emerges victorious in the 2024 elections.

She made this commitment during a courtesy visit to the Overlord of the Waala Traditional Council, Naa Seidu Pelpuo IV, at his palace in Wa, marking the beginning of her two-day campaign tour of the Upper West Region.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang criticized the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for what she described as biased development policies and assured Ghanaians that under an NDC government, national resources would be fairly distributed, leaving no region behind.
“Unlike the NDC that takes care of everybody, our opponents don’t necessarily do so. They have already told us about people who don’t vote for them and for which they don’t pay attention to them.
“So what this means is that our PCs have suffered for eight years. It means that whatever they could have done has been denied them because you voted for the NDC. This will not stop any of them or any of us from voting for a government that brings intervention, such as the roads you have requested for everybody to benefit,” she stated.
