The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced changes to its leadership team, effective July 1, 2024. Dr. Serebuor Quaicoe, previously in charge of Electoral Services, will now serve as the Training Director at the EC’s headquarters.
According to a letter dated April 30, 2024, signed by EC Chairperson Jean Mensa, Benjamin Banor-Bio, former Ashanti Regional office head, will take over as Director of Electoral Services.
As Dr. Quaicoe assumes his new role, he has been instructed to hand over all Commission property in his possession to the Deputy Chairman, Operations.
The EC has expressed confidence in his ability to work with Management to achieve excellence in the Training Department and the Commission as a whole.
In another development, Faith Amedzeke, formerly the Eastern Regional Director, has been relocated to the Commission’s headquarters in Accra.
These changes aim to strengthen the EC’s leadership and enhance its operations.
