With the recent resignation of the former minister of water resources and sanitation,Ms Cecilia Abena Dapaah. they have been speculations on a cabinet reshuffle by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo.The President’s cabinet reshuffle has been linked to his desire to strengthen his administration, input the best hands for the job as well as individuals with vast experience and ideas for optimal performance.
Many prominent names has been linked to be contending for the position which includes Osei-Kyei mensah Bonus who is currently the Majority leader and minister of Government Business. Also the minister of state at the ministry of Local Government, Decentralisation and rural development O.B Amoah is among the Strong contenders for the job.
Another contender who has once served as a deputy minister Dr Freda prempeh with her vast experience and knowledge in the sector might give her an edge over other contenders. The minister for state at the Ministry of works and housing and her boss Francis Asenso Boakye are all looking forward for a juicy position in the presidents cabinet.
