Michael Kwasi Aidoo, the NPP’s Parliamentary candidate for Oforikrom Constituency, has vowed to implement transformative initiatives to tackle youth unemployment in the area.
In an interview with Sir John on Akoma 87.9 FM’s Ghanakoma morning show on June 17, Aidoo emphasized his commitment to empowering young people, a key strategy for reducing unemployment and creating jobs in the constituency.

To date, he has trained 300 masters and apprentices at the Appiedu Community Centre, with an additional 10 individuals receiving scholarships for training in cosmetology and entrepreneurial skills at 2nd Image.
Furthermore, he has secured a six-month training scholarship for masters and apprentices to refine their skills.
Recently, he donated 80 sewing machines to the Oforikrom Branch of the Ghana Taylors and Dressmakers Association during their graduation ceremony.
Aidoo’s initiative aims to equip young people with the skills and resources needed to become financially independent and create employment opportunities for others.
To ensure the success of this program, he has carefully selected committed individuals who have pledged to complete the training.
Periodic workshops on time management and accounting will also be organized to support their development.
By empowering the youth, Aidoo hopes to significantly reduce unemployment in the constituency.
