A portion of individuals who attended Ghana’s match against Angola resorted to violence following Ghana’s 1-0 defeat to the Central African team.

The match, a 2025 AFCON qualifier held at Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, ended Ghana’s 24-year unbeaten streak at the venue.

Throughout the game, fans were frustrated as the Black Stars struggled to create scoring opportunities on a poor-quality pitch.

Felicio Milson scored in added time, securing Angola’s first win in Group F, which also includes Sudan and Niger. Sudan had earlier defeated Niger 1-0.

After Milson’s goal, some fans expressed their frustration by throwing plastic bottles onto the pitch.

At the end of the game, several fans breached the inner perimeter, invading the pitch where wooden panels were damaged.

Prior to the match, fans had also broken through a gate at the T.I. Ahmadiyya end to enter the stadium.
