In the Greater Accra Region’s Ada West District, a devastating fishing boat accident occurred on Wednesday, May 29, resulting in one tragic fatality, as confirmed by the National Disaster Management Organization.
The vessel, carrying ten people, suddenly began to leak and subsequently sank, leaving four individuals, including two Ghanaians, initially unaccounted for.

A rescue effort was swiftly launched, and fortunately, three survivors were pulled from the water.
However, the search for the remaining individual ended in tragedy, as one person was found deceased, and their body has been taken to the morgue for further procedures.
