Emmanuel Sackey, the father of the deceased O’Reilly Senior High School student, has revealed that an autopsy confirmed his son was stabbed three times with a jackknife, contrary to public speculation that scissors were used.

After his fifth appearance at the La Circuit Court on October 21, Sackey expressed his frustration over yet another adjournment of the case, now scheduled for November 4.

He stressed the urgency of the matter, emphasizing the brutality of the crime.

“I don’t understand what they are doing with this case. For the past three months, we have been coming here, and nothing has progressed. This case is straightforward, with clear evidence, so why the delay? This is murder, and I don’t comprehend what is happening,” he stated.

Sackey further recounted his experience when the autopsy results were shared. “I was present when the autopsy was conducted, and I asked the doctor if it was a stabbing with scissors.

He confirmed that it was a knife and that my son was stabbed three times. Anyone who says otherwise is lying. They seem to be framing it as self-defense. Regardless, is a student supposed to bring a weapon to school?” he questioned.

The incident occurred on September 2, when a final-year student at O’Reilly Senior High School stabbed a fellow student over a dispute regarding their fathers’ wealth.

The court has requested that involved parties return on November 4 as it awaits advice from the Attorney General.
