FIFA has announced several key appointments and promotions within its leadership team, underscoring the organization’s dedication to nurturing talent and driving continued growth.

Kevin Lamour, an experienced football administrator with nearly two decades of expertise, will step into the role of Chief Operating Officer starting November 1st.
Formerly UEFA’s Deputy General Secretary, Kevin will oversee various divisions and is anticipated to have a pivotal impact on shaping FIFA’s future operations.
Kenny Jean-Marie, FIFA’s outgoing Chief Member Associations Officer, will depart at the end of October to pursue new ventures. His leadership significantly transformed the Member Associations Division, leaving a lasting legacy.
Alongside Kevin’s appointment, FIFA has promoted Elkhan Mammadov to Chief Member Associations Officer and Gelson Fernandes to Deputy Chief Member Associations Officer.
Both will assume their new roles on November 1st, with Elkhan’s forward-thinking leadership and Gelson’s dedication to football development expected to bolster FIFA’s support for its 211 Member Associations.
FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafström voiced his confidence in the new leadership team, stating, “These changes demonstrate FIFA’s commitment to nurturing talent and maintaining our leadership in global football development. We eagerly anticipate the future under their leadership.”
