Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam is set to present the 2024 Mid-Year Budget Review to Parliament on Tuesday, July 23, 2024.

The review aims to update members of the House on the progress of the 2024 Budget, outline revised financial strategies, and provide a fresh economic outlook for Ghana.
According to a statement from the Ministry, the review will include a detailed analysis of the implementation of the 2024 budget, highlighting economic and fiscal performance during the first half of the year.
The review will focus on growth measures, revenue generation, expenditure performance, financing strategies, and debt sustainability.
The Minister will also update Parliament on the execution of the US$3 billion International Monetary Fund (IMF) loan-supported Post-COVID-19 Programme for Economic Growth (PC-PEG).
This will be Dr. Amin Adam’s inaugural presentation to Parliament since he became Finance Minister in February 2024, as required by Section 28 of the Public Financial Management Act, 2016 (Act 921).
