A devastating fire broke out on Thursday morning at Circle Odawna in Accra, destroying more than 15 structures.
The blaze, which started in the early hours of the day, was quickly contained by the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS).
Their prompt response prevented the fire from spreading to a nearby warehouse and affecting over 200 other buildings.
Eyewitnesses reported that the fire occurred near the location of a recent incident where several wooden structures were also damaged by fire.
The GNFS is currently investigating the cause of the fire and has urged residents and business owners in the area to strictly follow fire safety precautions to prevent further incidents in this fire-prone zone.
