A tragic fire erupted in the early hours of Wednesday, November 27, 2024, in Axim-Brewie, situated in the Nzema East Municipality of the Western Region.
The blaze claimed the lives of five individuals, including children aged five to ten years, and left three others injured.
In addition to the loss of life, the fire caused extensive damage to property, with damages estimated in the thousands of Ghana Cedis.
The identities of the deceased are yet to be confirmed, as investigations into the incident continue.
