Renowned Dancehall artist, Shatta Wale, has offered advice to the youth on how to achieve success in Ghana.
In a Facebook post, Shatta Wale urged the younger generation, which makes up a large portion of his fan base, to embrace self-reliance and find purpose in their lives.
He stated, “To thrive in Ghana, it’s essential to foster self-reliance and a clear sense of direction. Focus your energy on personal development and steer clear of idle gossip.”
Born Charles Nii Armah Mensah, Shatta Wale is one of the few artists in Ghana who has built a successful career without the backing of any record label.
Over the years, he has expressed his frustration with the industry’s treatment of him, but remains determined to pursue his vision of becoming a leading figure in African music.
