In a recent interview on Onua FM, observed by MyNewsGh.com , Prof. Richard Kofi Asiedu, CEO of St. Andrews Group of Companies and Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), shared his strategic approach during the 2023 Assin North by-elections.
When asked about his silence amidst allegations and insults from Chairman Wontumi, Prof. Asiedu explained that he deliberately chose not to respond, focusing instead on securing victory.
He recalled, “You remember during the Assin North election, Chairman Wontumi made a lot of allegations, and I was called by several media houses to respond, but I never made any remarks..”
Prof. Asiedu continued, “I remember on the last day of our campaign at Assin North, I had calls to banter Chairman Wontumi, but I desisted because the level of discourse I’ll have with him might be disgraceful.”
