Konlaabig Rasheed, a former Bono Regional Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has donated 13 motorbikes to all 12 constituencies in the region to support the party’s campaign efforts in the upcoming 2024 elections.

The motorbikes were distributed through the various constituency chairpersons to aid in their preparations for the elections, which are just two weeks away.

Rasheed emphasized that the donation is part of his ongoing commitment to the NPP and its ‘Bold Solutions Agenda’ to secure victory in the 2024 general elections.

“This is a personal donation aimed at resourcing the party at the base to ensure that the agenda of winning all the more seats in the region is not a mirage. I am equally doing this to ensure that Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is voted for to implement the laudable policies he has for Ghana,” he stated.

He pleaded with the party’s faithful to bury their differences and work together as a team to secure victory come December 7, 2024.

The Constituency Chairman for Dormaa West, chairman Kwame Owusu speaking on behalf of the constituency chairmen, acknowledged the efforts of Konlaabig Rasheed in resourcing the various constituencies within the Bono region.

He assured him that the motorbikes would be put to use and work hard to ensure victory for H.E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and their respective Parliamentary Candidates.

“We are grateful to Konlaabig Rasheed because he has done again what he has been doing to us by assisting us with these motorbikes. Since 2016, he has been assisting us with motorbikes. We also want to add that anybody who is in a privileged position in the party should emulate what Rasheed has done so that the party can continuously be in power,” he stated.
