Roberto Firmino, a renowned former striker for Liverpool and Brazil, has made a significant career pivot at the age of 32 by becoming a pastor.

Alongside his wife Larissa Pereira, he has embarked on a new journey to spread the gospel and share the love they have experienced since their first encounter with Christ.

The couple’s heartfelt desire is to inspire others and fulfill their responsibility to serve as pastors.

Currently playing for Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia, Firmino was ordained at his church in Maceió, Brazil, on June 30th, marking a new chapter in his life.

While he has had a successful football career, playing in 34 matches last season and scoring nine goals with seven assists, Firmino is now dedicated to a life of spiritual service.

His transition from the football field to the pulpit is an inspiration to many, showcasing his commitment to his faith and his desire to make a positive impact on the world.
