Fuel shortage hits Damongo, residents urge govt intervention

Damongo, the capital of the Savannah Region, is currently facing a fuel shortage, with drivers and other petroleum product users moving from one fuel station to another in search of fuel.

Frustrated residents have voiced their concerns, calling the shortage a significant inconvenience that has disrupted their daily routines.

Many have appealed to the government and relevant authorities for immediate intervention to resolve the crisis.

Zen Petroleum, is the only surviving fuel station currently serving the whole regional capital.

Speaking with Channel One News Correspondent, Amadu Abdul Karim, Zen Station Manager indicated that they have put measures in place to serve customers with an abundance of fuel in stock.
