Ghana arrived Cameroon for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations. There were 25 players.

Three players – Phillipemon Baffour, Kamaldeen Sulmana and Mohammed Kudus – were not part of the team that flew from Doha, Qatar.

Baffour (20 years old) was in Portugal to sign a deal with Rio Ave FC. He missed the team’s pre-tournament camp.

Sulemana, Rennes’ star, is said to have contracted COVID-19 while isolating at the French Ligue 1. Kudus, a young Ajax player, recently returned from an injury that had kept him sidelined for two months. While playing for Ghana in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, he sustained a rib injury.
