The Ghana Education Service (GES) has directed staff affected by the recent revocation of appointments and recruitments to validate their employment status by March 14, 2025.

This initiative aims to clean up the database of all recruited staff on the GES payroll.
In a letter dated March 5, 2025, GES management referred to an earlier communication from February 17, 2025, which announced the revocation of certain appointments.
To facilitate the validation process, GES has set up a three-member committee comprising the Regional Human Resource Officer, the Regional Internal Auditor, and the Regional Accountant.
Affected staff are required to provide the following documents to support the validation process:
1. Appointment Letter
2. Academic Certificate
3. Licensure Certificate
4. National Service Certificate
The validation process is expected to be completed by March 14, 2025. GES management has urged the cooperation of all affected staff to ensure the success of this exercise.
Prof. Ernest Kofi Davis, Acting Director-General of GES, signed the letter and emphasised the importance of this validation exercise in maintaining an accurate and up-to-date payroll database.
