Philip Appiah Kubi, the disqualified presidential candidate of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), has rejected reports suggesting that the party has endorsed the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming elections.
This follows a media briefing on December 4, where an individual identifying as Jerry Addo, Deputy General Secretary of the GFP, announced that the party had decided to support the NDC after extensive deliberations with party executives.

However, in an interview with Citi News, Philip Appiah Kubi clarified that the GFP has not made any official decision regarding endorsement and is still considering its options ahead of the December 7 general elections.
“We have not endorsed any political party. Not that we have issues with either NDC or NPP, but as the leader of Ghana Freedom Party currently, with my general secretary, my four Parliamentary Candidates and the other executive members, we have not endorsed any political party.
“And I will make it clear that it is fake. I know we have barely three days or two days to election day, and we will come up at the appropriate time.”
