With just over 2 weeks to go, the National Sports Authority, Ghana begins fertilising the Cape Coast Stadium.

This is in preparation for the Ghana Black Stars game against arch rival, the Super Eagles of Nigeria, for a place in the 2022 World-cup in Qatar later this year.

According to a statement via the twitter handle of, The National Sports Authority (NSA), “The National Sports Authority (NSA) is working closely with its consultant, the Green Grass Technology Ltd, led by Mr Frank Boahen.

“Various interventional activities such as fertilizer application, intensive regiments of watering and aeration through spiking are currently underway.”

Critics online are of the opinion that with just over 2 weeks to go, it’s a little too late to undertake task of that magnitude.
