The Ghana National Gas Company has announced that it will shut down two of its processing plants from August 1-17, 2024, for maintenance to improve their performance and safety.

The affected facilities are the Gas Processing Plant and the Offshore Gas Export Facilities.
During this period, Lean Gas from the Sankofa-OCTP field will still be available for delivery at the Takoradi Distribution Station (TDS).
The company assures the public that there will be no interruption to the power supply during the maintenance work.
“Ghana Gas deeply regrets any inconvenience that the shutdown may cause but assures the general public that there will be uninterrupted power supply during the shutdown period.
We are committed to maintaining the highest standard of safety and operational efficiency,” the statement added.
