One officer from Ghana Police Services has been killed in a stabbing attack by a suspect. The information was posted to their Facebook page. The message reads:
“The Police Administration is sad to report that a Police officer died from a stabbing attack. In the meantime, the violent suspect was shot and killed.”
“The sad incident took place in Bono Region. More details will be available after we have informed the family members and the next-of kin of the officer who died.”
“We respectfully ask that the media not reveal the identity of the officer, or any sensitive details, about the incident, until the family is fully briefed”
