The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has strongly condemned the electoral misconduct involving an Electoral Commission (EC) officer, Joseph Dery, in Kintampo South.
Dery was arrested for allegedly issuing ballot papers that omitted the name of the first presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, during the voting process.

The incident has sparked widespread outrage within the NPP and among its supporters, who believe it was an attempt to undermine the integrity of the electoral process.
According to the police, Dery was apprehended after polling station officials and party agents raised concerns about irregularities in the ballots being distributed at his station.
