Ghana’s COVID-19 cases rises to 12,590, deaths 66: health ministry

A total of 12,590 people have tested positive for the COVID-19 disease in Ghana, with 66 deaths from the coronavirus so far, officials said on Wednesday evening.

The number of new virus cases rose by 397 from the previous day, while the death rate rises by 12; this makes it a total of 66 people, according to health authorities.

Regional breakdown

The Greater Accra Region is still leading the chart with 7,419 cases, followed by the Ashanti and Western Regions with 2362 and 993 cases respectively.
