Ghana’s COVID-19 cases rises to 8,548, deaths remains 38: health ministry

A total of 8,297 people have tested positive for the COVID-19 disease in Ghana, with 38 deaths from the coronavirus so far, officials said on Tuesday evening.

The number of new virus cases rose by 251 from the previous day, while the death rate stays at 38, according to health authorities.

Regional breakdown

The Greater Accra Region is still leading the chart with 5,894 cases, followed by the Ashanti and Western Regions with 1,342 and 449 cases respectively.
