Theresa Kufuor, former first lady and wife of former President of the Fourth Republic of Ghana, John Agyekum Kufuor has been confirmed dead by close family members.
The former First Lady died at the age of 85, surrounded by close family and friends. A source close to the Kufuor family has confirmed.
Meanwhile, the family are set to release an official statement announcing her death which occurred hours ago, Sunday 1st October 2023
Theresa Kufuor, born on October 25, 1937, few days to her 86th birthday, was a retired nurse and midwife.
The former First Lady has been a subject of numerous death hoax stories since 2017, and all have turned out false not until the recent news which has been confirmed by her family.
Some very close family and well-wishers have since thronged the Airport Residential Area residence of the former First couple to offer early commiserations to Mr. Kufuor.
