Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Abu has joined MLS side DC United on a year loan with an option to buy from Norwegian Valerenga fc.
The former Black stars defensive midfielder was announced by the MLS side on Tuesday after signing.
General manager of DC United Dave Casper in a statement released said “We’re excited for Abu to join the team and add some important depth in the central midfield position,”.
The 28 year old once played in the MLS in 2017 when he joined Columbus Crew before moving to Valerenga on loan.
