The Government’s Transition Team convened its third meeting on Friday, December 27, 2024, at the Accra International Conference Centre. All subcommittees, except for the Social Sector Sub-Committee, presented their reports during the meeting.
Co-chaired by representatives from both parties, the meeting focused on reviewing the progress of the transition process and addressing any outstanding issues.
The reports presented were deemed generally satisfactory, with some requests for additional information on specific matters. The Co-Chairs directed both parties to continue their engagements and provide further details at the next meeting as needed.
The transition team emphasised the importance of collaboration and transparency in ensuring a seamless handover and maintaining the nation’s progress.
The next meeting is expected to address any remaining concerns and finalise the details of the transition.
