The Accra Hearts of Oaks famously known as the ‘Phobians’ have brought a surprise to many faces after defeating Ashanti Gold on penalties last Sunday, August 8, 2021at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Phobians lifted the MTN FA Cup after its victory over the Ashanti Gold.
However, both teams performed very well but eventually ended in a goalless draw after the full ninety minutes of playing time.
Also the added thirty minutes extra time did not yield any goal.
The winner of the game emerged through penalties which ended 8-7 on points in favour of Accra Hearts of Oaks.
