Inter Allies FC striker Godfrey Aondoaseer Utim says he is confident of achieving his dream to play in Europe when the Coronavirus (COVID-19) storm passes.

The Nigerian youngster is one of the many young talents with the Ghana Premier League club and is among the few talents imported from other parts of the continent.

In an interview with Daily Trust on Wednesday, Godfrey Aondoaseer Utim has shared that he is keeping faith in God to have the opportunity to play in Europe after the Coronavirus period.

“It is unfortunate that this COVID-19 has unsettled the whole world. However, I am fully focused on my dream which is to play professional football in Europe,” Utim said.

He further lamented over the COVID-19 pandemic but stressed that the dust will settle soon.

“We are on a break but I am still training at home based on my club’s training programme. I am trusting God that this pandemic will soon be a thing of the past.

“For me, this is a temporary setback. By the special grace of God, we shall overcome COVID-19 and move on with football”, Godfrey Utim noted.

He made one appearance in the Ghana Premier League before the season was suspended as a precautionary measure against the spread of the Coronavirus.
