Great Olympics midfielder Gladson Awako is hoping his side will survive relegation this season in the Ghana Premier League.
The Accra-based club were promoted back into the league by the then GFA Normalisation Committee following claims of injustice which led to their demotion the previous season.
The “dade boys” have struggled to maintain their status in the Premier League with consecutive relegations over the years.

“It’s very disappointing that anytime Accra Great Olympics get promotion into the league, they are relegated at the end of the season. We are hoping that during our time we can break the jinx”, he told Happy FM.
Great Olympics were placed 10th on the league log with 20 points before the league was suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Olympics have signed new players to strengthen their squad before the league resumes.
