Pep Guardiola, Manchester City’s manager, emphasized the importance of securing an early advantage against West Ham United in their upcoming match.

Manchester City is poised to make history by winning their fourth consecutive Premier League title, and a victory on the final day against West Ham United will guarantee this achievement.

Following an impressive performance against Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City leads Arsenal by two points in the title race.

However, they face a formidable challenge from David Moyes’ West Ham United side on Sunday afternoon.

During a pre-match press conference, Guardiola acknowledged the enormity of the task ahead but expressed confidence in his team’s ability to rise to the occasion.

He stated, “Ideally, we would like to be 3-0 up against West Ham within 10 minutes, but that’s unrealistic. I have a feeling it will be reminiscent of our match against Aston Villa in 2022. We are prepared, and my players will never give up.”

If Manchester City emerges victorious against West Ham, Pep Guardiola will make history as the first manager to win four consecutive titles in England’s top division.

Meanwhile, Arsenal will face Everton at home, hoping that their London counterparts will deny Manchester City all three points and pave the way for Arsenal’s first league title in 20 years.
