Guru, Diana Asamoah, and other celebrities attended NAPO’s unveiling event

Ghanaian musicians who align themselves with the New Patriotic Party (NPP) were seen at the official unveiling of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh as the running mate to the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

The event, held on Tuesday, July 9 at the Jubilee Park in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, drew various party dignitaries.

Notably, gospel musician Diana Asamoah, known for her staunch support of the NPP, graced the main stage and delivered performances of her popular songs to the enthusiastic crowd, encouraging Ghanaians to vote for the party.

Sidney Kofi Ofori, widely known as Barima Sidney, also joined in and performed the official campaign songs for the party, much to the delight of the audience and party supporters.

Dancehall artist Samini, rapper Guru, and Hiplife artist Praye Tiatia also made appearances on stage to greet the party dignitaries and the President.

The official unveiling of ‘NAPO’ as the running mate to Dr. Bawumia in the upcoming December elections followed the party’s unanimous decision to confirm him for the role.
