A player agency and scouting organization, HC Talent, has renewed its partnership with the historic Ghanaian football club Okwahu United through a two-year agreement.

Once a dominant force in Ghanaian football, Okwahu United has seen its fortunes decline in recent years.

Founded in 1975 and representing Ghana on the continental stage during the 1980s, the Nkawkaw club now competes in the Division One league, below the Ghana Premier League.

With hopes of a comeback, Okwahu United’s prospects look brighter thanks to the renewed partnership with HC Talent.

This collaboration signals a potential resurgence for the club.

HC Talent, which focuses on helping players and football clubs achieve excellence, has committed a total of GHS 70,000 to the partnership extension.

These funds will be allocated to essential resources, including new equipment and enhancing the club’s scouting network.

The partnership also aims to strengthen Okwahu United’s player development initiatives, a crucial step in building a competitive squad capable of excelling at all levels.

Additionally, the investment will support the identification and nurturing of promising young talents, laying the groundwork for the club’s future success.

Despite facing challenges in recent years, this renewed partnership provides a glimmer of hope for Okwahu United’s dedicated fanbase, who have eagerly awaited the club’s return to the top flight.

The Nkawkaw club can now focus on revitalizing its fortunes through grassroots talent development and improved player scouting efforts.
