It has been announced that a section of the Accra N1 highway will be shut to enable Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo) carry out some maintenance.
According to information sighted by GhanaTalksRadio, the Ministry of Roads and Highways has issued alert to motorists about disruption in the traffic flow on a section of the N1 highway in Accra, today and tomorrow Thursday, 23 June 2021, from 11am to 5pm.
Also, the statement further stated, that the disruption is to enable Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo), to undertake final changing works involving the removal of section, or the existing power lines which cross the N1 highway near the Fiesta Royal Hotel junction in Accra.
Meanwhile, apologies has been issued for any inconvenience caused.
Motorists are therefore advised to follow traffic diversion signs to be placed at section on the N1 highway.
