Callum Hudson-Odoi came off the bench to score a brilliant goal, securing unbeaten Nottingham Forest a stunning 1-0 victory over Liverpool at Anfield and ending Arne Slot’s perfect start as Reds manager.

Hudson-Odoi made an immediate impact, cutting in from the left and curling a precise shot into the far bottom corner, out of Alisson’s reach.
The goal gave Forest their first win at Anfield in any competition since 1969.
Liverpool, confident after three consecutive clean-sheet victories, had the better chances in the first half. Luis Diaz came closest, hitting the post with a powerful shot from a tight angle.

Forest goalkeeper Matz Sels was also tested, making a crucial save to deny Alexis Mac Allister’s header and nearly spilling a Diaz effort.
In the second half, Forest gained momentum, with Morgan Gibbs-White and Anthony Elanga missing chances before Hudson-Odoi’s spectacular strike sealed the upset. Despite late pressure from Liverpool, they failed to create clear opportunities for an equalizer.
The win moves Forest into fourth place in the Premier League with two wins and two draws, while Liverpool sits just one point ahead.
